Welcome to Kinnaird Psychology Service Ltd in Forth Valley

Helping you to get back on track

At Kinnaird Psychology Service Ltd, I provide private, evidence-based therapy for a range of common mental health difficulties. I aim to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can feel comfortable discussing your experiences openly. Using a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to your individual needs, I work collaboratively with you to understand and manage your difficulties, reduce distressing symptoms, and improve day-to-day functioning. Together, we focus on setting realistic, achievable goals and supporting you to live in line with your values and the direction you want your life to take.

Living with difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, or persistent physical symptoms can affect many areas of life, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unable to move forward in the way you would like. Opening up about these experiences and seeking support can often feel difficult. At Kinnaird Psychology Service Ltd, I provide a confidential, supportive, and compassionate space where you can explore these difficulties safely and without judgement. My aim is to support your wellbeing, help you develop effective ways of coping, and work with you towards living a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Be seen in a 400-year-old hospital, gifted by the wealthy merchant, John Cowane in 1636. This quirkly therapy room holds many memories, situated opposite the Church of the Holy Rude, where King James VI was crowned. It is a stone's throw away from the historic Stirling Castle at the top of the hill and surrounded by a maintained 17th century landscaped garden. Online Therapy

Be seen in the comfort of your own home, from anywhere in the UK!

Kinnaird Psychology Service is set up to see people remotely. It has become common practice to attend work meetings, GP appointments and interviews online. Therapy is the same.

Online therapy can be very advantageous if you struggle to leave the house or are at work. It can cut out commute times to attend a session or you can be seen over your lunch break, whilst at work. It can also make it easy to share worksheets live in the session and watch short videos together.

All private health insurance companies authorise online therapy. Simply request your authorisation number and pass this on. You can also self-pay for your sessions just like you would if you were seeing someone face to face.

All your therapy work sheets, links to resources and downloads, and summaries will be emailed over to you after each session. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Are you feeling in crisis right now?

Have you stumbled upon this page looking for help in a time of crisis?

You may have found this page looking for help quickly. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an emergency response. Therapy is usually most beneficial for individuals who are not actively hurting themselves or planning on ending their life.

Please do not feel that you have to experience these unwanted feelings or thoughts alone. In the first instance, we would encourage you to contact your GP, or if it is out of hours, attend your nearest Accident and Emergency (A&E) department if you feel you are at immediate risk. You can also phone NHS 24 on 111 and speak with someone from the mental health part of this service.

The following organisations are trained to help individuals in crisis, whether that's offering a listening ear or providing advice:
